B. Stand & Look
Produced by The Mighty Fatman
Recorded at the Black Ark studio
North London sound system operator Fatman claims (according to David Katz' People Funny Boy) he heard
the group (Dad Brown & The Fantails) singing on a street corner, and build a rhythm for them at Joe Gibbs' studio,
which the group then voiced at King Tubby's. According to Fatman, he requested that Tubby make use of a phaser
in an effort to emulate Perry's Black Ark sound.
To me, this Waterhouse trio, called the Fantails, sound a lot more like Dad Brown, backed by The Heptones.
